El Careyes Beach Resort

In August 1968 Gian Franco Brignone an architect and entrepreneur from Torino, Italy found what he considers to be heaven on earth. Upon a visit to Mexico, he discovered a beautifully untouched coast off the Pacific Ocean and found it to be everything he ever hoped for in a life retreat.

He named the land Costa Careyes (the turtle coast) as the beaches serve as an important sanctuary and nesting ground for giant sea turtles. Today, Costa Careyes is still considered to be one of Mexico’s great, undiscovered treasures - a place where those looking to experience Mexico’s natural bounty can enjoy a temperate climate, pristine shores and one-of-a-kind accommodations.
